Martyr Haj Davoud Karimi on the first days of the Imposed War selected as the commander of southern war zones founded some military units along with some of the commanders such as martyr Hasan Bagheri, Mohammad Jahan Ara, Ali Hashemi to defend Abadan, Ahvaz and Dezful against the Iraqi Baathist enemy.
Haj Davoud Karimi was born in 1947 in Tehran. He got familiar with Imam Khomeini (RA) by Mahdi Araghi. He moved to Lebanon and got familiar with martyr Chamran on 1976, and joined the guerrilla forces.after the Islamic Revolution Victory, Haj Davoud Karimi jioned the Islamic Revolution Committee. Haj Davoud was one of the key factors of founding Islamic Revolution Guards Corps.
As the war started, he went to the forefront as the training military commander. Davoudv Karimi played the vital role in different operations. Fainally he was chemically injured at the "FAV" operation and a bullet war hurt his heart at the "Mersad" operation. Finally he was martyred on 2004 and joined his martyr friends.
