"Martry General Hassan Shafi Zadeh" Multimedia Software Released

Navideshahed: The multimedia software ‘Martyr General Hassan Shafi Zadeh’, the commander of artilleries for the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps during the Holy Defense was produced by Shahed Electronic Publication and by collaboration of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs of East Azarbaijan province.

According to Navideshahed, this multimedia software is a collection of information related to martyr major general Hassan Shafi Zadeh which consists of 166 minutes films, 103 photos and 13 pages of documents.

The other sections of this software include the biography, testament, memories of martyr Shafi Zadeh. All the abovementioned sections have the capability of searching and information extraction.

The software is the 78th software which has been produced by Research and Cultural Communication Center of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs in the form of DVD. The price of this software is 2000 Toman.

The Major General Martyr Hassan Shafi Zadeh was born in 1957 in a religious family in Tabriz city. He lost his father when he was only 12 years old. Since he was the elder child of the family, he became the breadwinner of the family and he helped her mother in earning money for the family.

When he got his diploma, he went to the military service. At the same time of his military service, the Islamic Revolution occurred and he was in touch with some clerics who had been banished such as martyr Ayatollah Madani and martyr Ayatollah Dastgheib. He attempted so much to guide the military men who were inside the garrison and he attempted to neutralize the propagandas of the military government of the former regime. He would share the announcements and messages of Imam Khomeini the great founder of Islamic Revolution of Iran inside and outside of the garrison as well.

Martyr Shafi Zadeh later established the corps and along with other friends, they created the main cores of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps. He was an authority of the operation section of Tabriz Corps. He played a significant role in suppressing the cruel anti-revolutionary and misled party of Azarbaijan province including the Khalgh group.

When the Iran-Iraq war started and Abadan city was surrounded by the Iraqi forces, he went to the southern battlefields along with a Mortar Military Group that would be commanded by martyr Bakeri at the time. Martyr Shafi Zadeh after the military operation ‘Tarigh Al-Ghods’ was appointed as the chief of staff for the brigade of Karbala which had been recently established. He played essential role in the formation and commandership of this brigade.

He took part in the military operations Kheibar, Valfajr 8, Karbala 1, Karbala 4, Karbala 5 which the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps had the responsibility of commanding them at the time. He also supported the frontiers war veterans by the artilleries.

Martyr Shafi Zadeh in addition of taking part in all the military operations, he was the commander of Artillery and the planner and designer of supportive firing in different headquarters. His final responsibility was the commandership of artillery of the Ground Force of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps of Khatam Al-Anbiya.

Martyr Shafi Zadeh was martyred in 1987 during the military operation Karbala 10 which took place in northwest (public area of Mavoot) while he had been dispatched to the frontiers. In fact his vehicle was targeted by the enemy artillery and he achieved his permanent ambition which was martyrdom.
